Honestly, the black bands look way sharper in person than in the photos, and the bowl feels incredibly light but solid at the same time. I've read about Vitrelle glass being chip-resistant, but it's already survived a drop onto tile without a mark. It's the perfect size for my morning oatmeal.
The bold black bands look sharp on the table, and it's genuinely light to lift even when full. That said, the 18-ounce size feels a bit small if you like a generous pour of cereal and milk, though the triple-layer glass does feel sturdy.
